Life has many different roads, avenues, and detours, but the way you find your destination is up to you. I understand that overcoming life's roadblocks is a collaboration and not a one-sided interaction. As the proud owner of Zen Counseling, my goal is to empower you to map out effective responses to your environment and situations to promote successful outcomes.
I named my therapy practice Zen Counseling because I believe in the power of mindfulness, presence, and inner peace as essential elements of healing and personal growth. Zen represents simplicity, balance, and deep awareness—qualities I strive to bring into my therapeutic approach. My goal is to create a calm, supportive space where clients can gain clarity, navigate challenges with ease, and cultivate a sense of well-being in their lives.
I’m a Georgia-based therapist who provides telehealth services for those that reside within the state. I’ve worked in group homes, schools, and communities with children, adolescents, and adults. My extensive work with clients is comprised of managing anxiety and bipolar disorders through identification of unhelpful thought patterns that can ultimately change one's behavior in a significant way. My therapeutic techniques include cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and strength-based therapy.
